Groveton ISD Cell Phone Policy (Grades 4–12) In compliance with Texas House Bill 1481, Groveton ISD is enforcing a device-free environment during the instructional day to support student focus, engagement, and academic success. This law requires all public and charter schools to prohibit the use of personal communication devices such as cell phones, smartwatches, wireless headphones, and earbuds during school hours. To implement this initiative effectively, Groveton ISD requires all students in Grades 4–12 to use Yondr pouches to secure their devices during the school day.

Groveton ISD has announced a set of guidelines for students entering Indian Stadium for home football games. In order to maintain a safe, orderly and enjoyable atmosphere for all attending, Groveton ISD will implement the following requirements regarding student conduct.

NOTIFICATION OF NONDISCRIMINATION IN CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR GROVETON ISD
The GROVETON ISD offers career and technology education programs in Home Economics, Trade and Industrial Education, Agricultural Science/Technology and Agribusiness, and Business Education. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness, and available class space.
It is the policy of the GROVETON ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap in its vocational programs, services, or activities, as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
The GROVETON ISD will take steps to assure that the lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in all educational and vocational programs.
